International students who want to study at the Dresden University of Technology in Germany can apply for a DAAD-STIBET Scholarship. The TIBET-Program of the German Educational Exchange Service helps pay for the program (DAAD).

REQUIREMENT FOR QUALIFICATION

  • Student from all countries are qualified to apply
  • Program include diploma, undergraduate and masters degree offered by the university.
  • Diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s (excluding English-Taught Master’s Programs), and State Exam students from other countries studying at TU Dresden.
  • Since the Scholarship for Study Completion within the framework of the scholarship programs STIBET III – Matching Funds is only offered to foreign students enrolled in International Master’s Programs (Master’s Programs taught in English), only those students are encouraged to apply.
  • Exchange students who come to TU Dresden for one or two semesters but do not intend to get a degree from the university are not eligible for these awards.
  • The Graduate Academy at TU Dresden provides resources for Ph.D. students looking for funding opportunities.

Procedure to apply

  • Those who want to apply for the scholarship must fill out the application form and send it in. The following address is where all applicants should send their applications: TU Dresden, International Office, Division of Scholarship Programs for International Students, Ms. Hesse and Ms. Landgraf-Dietz, 01062 Dresden.
  • Applicants must include a current list of their exam results (transcript), a confirmation from the exam office that lists the credits earned and the overall average grade, and a curriculum vitae (CV).
  • Applicants must have good or very good grades (an overall average of at least 2.5) and get their final degree within one year (registered for final thesis or earned at least 75% of credits).
